GMA Network proudly shared with The Manila Times late Wednesday afternoon that Alden Richards’ “Alaala: A Martial Law Special” documentary drama had just won a silver award at the 2018 New York Festivals held that morning (Tuesday evening in the United States).

 Alden Richards has taken a "non-pake" stance on negativity, brushing off whatever bashing he receives on and offline. "Kaya kahit ano pa po ang sabihin nila sa akin, sa pamilya ko po, sa mga kaibigan ko, hindi po nila zko mabi-break. Kasi mas kilala ko po ang sarili ko."

Totoo nga ba ito?  Alden Richards grateful about acting projects that were given to him by GMA Network, "Nagkataon lang din na magaganda yung binibigay sa akin na proyekto kaya tanggap lang ako nang tanggap."
 Alden Richards admits he misses doing dramatic roles, which he had been doing pre-Aldub phenomenon. "Kung gaano po na miss ng mga tao yung pag-portray ko po ng drama roles, sobrang na miss ko rin po siya. Ang tagal ko rin po siyang hindi nagawa at nagpapasalamat din po ako sa GMA at sa Eat Bulaga! na binibigyan po nila ko ng chance na makagawa ng ganitong klase."
 First time dumalo ni Alden Richards sa Grand Fans Day ng GMA Artist Center na ginawa last Friday sa Music Museum at hindi nito binigo ang Kapuso fans na matagal naghintay sa kanya. Kinantahan sila ni Alden at nilapitan ang iba na libre siyang nakamayan.
 Under the direction of Mark dela Cruz, the story will be brought to life by Alden Richards who volunteered to play a role in the show. The actor’s gesture is much appreciated according to Tiangco.
 Alden Richards was named as Safeguard's newest endorser in an event held on October 12 and he couldn't be any happier. As the newest face for the brand, Alden took part in the celebration of Global Handwashing Day in Baseco, Tondo.
