 Alden Richards was named as Safeguard's newest endorser in an event held on October 12 and he couldn't be any happier. As the newest face for the brand, Alden took part in the celebration of Global Handwashing Day in Baseco, Tondo.

Alden Richards (left) revealed on Twitter that his late mother suffered depression. His tweet came a day after fellow Eat Bulaga! co-hosts Joey de Leon (center) and Maine Mendoza aired opposing views of depression.
