CONFIRMED: Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards to top-bill Star Cinema movie

It's confirmed! Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards will top-bill a Star Cinema movie to be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina!

Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards are starring in a movie together!

A meeting and story conference was held today, March 12, as posted by Star Cinema's Instagram account.

Star Cinema is one of the film outfits under ABS-CBN Films.

Also present during the story conference were the upcoming movie's director, Cathy Garcia-Molina, and Star Cinema managing director, Olivia Lamasan.

This will be the first time that Alden Richards, one of GMA-7's prime actors, will star in a movie production by rival network, ABS-CBN.

GMA-7's talent arm, GMA Artist Center, also posted photos of Alden and Kathryn during the story conference.

Alden's career is being managed by GMA Artist Center.

It was first reported by PEP.ph's (Philippine Entertainment Portal) PEP Troika column, published on February 20, 2019, that there was a big possibility Kathryn and Alden will be paired in a movie.

On March 6, 2019, PEP Troika also reported that the Kathryn-Alden movie might be shot in Hong Kong.

The report also said the movie's target playdate is this May 2019.

This is not the first time, however, that Kathryn and Alden will be working together.

In the March 8, 2019 report of PEP Troika, a source said that Kathryn's mother, Min Bernardo, has only good words for Alden.

Alden and Kathryn previously worked together in a product endorsement several years ago.

More announcements are yet to be made by Star Cinema regarding the movie project
