The AlDub love team will top-bill Eat Bulaga's first telemovie presentation titled Love Is... A short teaser was launched during the October 14 episode of Eat Bulaga! The teaser showed a photo montage of Alden and Maine hugging each other. On that same afternoon, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had an exclusive interview with Alden during the launch of his brand endorsement at Festival Mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The 25-year-old actor said about the project, "It's gonna be an AlDub special. Parang anniversary ng lahat ng nangyaring events." Scheduled to be shown on October 21, the telemovie will coincide with the anniversary of two important events that are special for AlDub. The first event took place on October 24, 2015. After months of only talking to each other via TV monitors, Alden and Maine finally had a face-to-face meet-up during the #EBTamangPanahon concert held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. AlDub fans were able to fill the arena, which has a capacity of 55,000. The second milestone of AlDub took place on October 22, 2016. Alden considers this upcoming telemovie Love Is... as the most challenging project so far for him and Maine. He pointed out, "Upon doon sa mga nagawa naming projects ni Maine, this is gonna be one of the most challenging as a pair. "So mas mahirap siya. It will be directed by Adolf Alix so we're really looking forward to it." Though he was advised to remain tight-lipped about the project, Alden dropped hints about their upcoming project. "Action, heavy drama, expect that sa project na ito. "Sa ngayon kasi, the management advised us to keep it confidential muna kasi we're gonna do certain promos within the week to hype the project kasi it's gonna be aired on Saturday, sa [October] 21 na." When asked to give the names of their co-stars, he only said with a smile, "That I can't reveal, surprise talaga siya." The first telemovie presentation of Eat Bulaga! will be shown during the whole Saturday episode of GMA-7's noontime variety show, which airs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Adolf Alix, Jr., who also directed Alden's Martial Law-themed drama special Alaala, will helm the telemovie.
