Alden Richards is unsure if his next project with Maine Mendoza will be a movie or a teleserye. He clarified his recent statement that a teleserye is 'in the works' for the AlDub love team.
'I just told them [members of the press] that for the next project that management is doing, it will still be Maine and I. 'Pero hindi pa namin alam if we're going to do a teleserye or a movie again. 'Ang in the works po ang usapan kung ano ang next for us.' Alden reiterated that the AlDub love team will not be separated in a future project. When asked if he will topbill the Filipino adaptation of My Love From the Star, Alden paused before answering: 'Usapan lang din with the management, with the creatives of GMA but it was never really handed to me na 'You will do it.' 'Ako naman po, I just abide by what the management has for my career. 'I don't really push for anything, I don't really ask for anything. I just wait.' If ever, would he be willing to reprise the role of Matteo Do (Kim Soo-hyun)? In the popular Koreanovela, the lead character is an alien who develops a romance with an actress named Steffi Cheon (Jun Ji-hyun). Alden quickly flashed his bedimpled smile and said, 'Oo! Kami ni Maine. O, di ba? 'Gawin namin ni Maine ang My Love From the Stars.' The 24-year-old actor recalled telling GMA-7 executives that he was very interested in topbilling My Love From the Star. 'When the series started airing here, I asked them na parang, 'Sana, if ire-remake, sana you consider me for the role of the alien. 'Pero I don't really know yet po. I'm still waiting for what will happen.' But even if does not portray the the Kapuso actor said that he would accept the decision of management. 'If it will be given to it me, it will be an honor. 'Pero kung may mga bagay talaga na if it's not meant for you, it will not be for you.'
