Alden Richards understands Maine Mendoza's position not to conform just to please others

'I've always been there for Maine giving her advises,' says Alden Richards who stands by Maine Mendoza as she copes with the demands of show business.

Tiniyak ni Alden Richards na todo ang suporta niya kay Maine Mendoza, lalo na sa mga pagkakataong may agam-agam ito tungkol sa showbiz.

Kaugnay ito ng blog post ni Maine Mendoza kung saan iginiit ng Dubsmash Queen na hindi niya kailanman babaguhin kung sino siya para lang makapagbigay-lugod sa ibang tao.

“I’ve always been there for Maine giving her advises,” bungad ni Alden.

Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Alden sa ginanap na #ALDUB54thWeeksary ng Eat Bulaga!, nitong Huwebes, Hulyo 28.

Habang kausap ng writer na ito si Alden sa backstage ng Eat Bulaga! studio ay nasa kalapit lang si Maine na kausap naman ng iba pang PEP reporters.

Patuloy ng Pambansang Bae, aminado siyang hindi talaga madali ang buhay-artista dahil palaging nakatuon sa kanila ang mata ng publiko at talagang masusubukan ang tibay ng kanilang loob.

“Here in showbiz, sometimes it’s unfair.

“You’ve done a lot of good, you’ve just showcased your true self.

“You’ve just done what you think is good to yourself and in the eyes of other people…

“Sometimes it’s really not enough. Sometimes meron at meron talagang masasabi.”

Naiintindihan daw ni Alden ang pinanggagalingan ng saloobin ni Maine sa isang insidente kung saan may ibang tao siyang kailangang i-please.

“Dito naman kasi, out of the ten things you’ve done good, ang maaalala pa rin yung ginawa mong mali.

“But siyempre, at the end of the day, it’s really up to your discernment if you still want to do it [or] if you don’t wanna do it anymore.

“The thing with Maine, she’s just new. And I’m giving her pointers on how to handle these things.

“Parang so far, she's slowly coping with the industry.”

Nag-open ba sa kanya si Maine kapag nasasaktan ito?

Sagot ni Alden, “On a lighter conversation.

“The thing about this girl, kay Menggay [Alden’s favorite moniker of Maine], she doesn’t wanna make a big deal out of things.

“She wants to talk about it in a light mood, not too serious.”
