Alden Richards only had one prime consideration when he bought his Laguna home: His grandparents9/3/2017 Alden Richards hopes to pass his most prized toy collections on to his future kids. Alden Richards is living the dream— a blooming career, caring friends, and an army of fans. And now, finally, he has moved his family into their own home. Alden said the two-story house is a fulfillment of his lifelong dream to give his family, especially his paternal grandparents, a place they could call their own home. Alden told YES! magazine in an exclusive interview for its January 2017 issue that his Lola Linda and Lolo Danny slept on makeshift beds in a rented house in Laguna. The Eat Bulaga! heartthrob said, "My grandparents, kung saan kami nakatira before e sa sala lang natutulog. "'Tapos 'yung tinutulugan ng lolo ko, may chip pa 'yong bed. "'Yung mga pang-taping ko na upuan na hindi ko ginagamit, binigay ko sa kanya para 'yun 'yung maging kama niya. "'Tapos, we didn't have enough rooms pa.” He recalled with a tinge of sadness, "Walang-wala ako noon. Wala talaga akong pera.” As soon as he could afford it, he said he had his grandparents in mind when he started scouting for a house to purchase. Alden related, “Yung priority ko noon when I was looking for a house was dapat merong room sa baba. "Pag walang room sa baba, regardless of how it looks, hindi pasok." He found the perfect house during an unplanned visit in an exclusive village where, he said, the properties were being sold at "bagsak-presyo." And who else but his love team partner Maine Mendoza would come and visit Alden and his family in their new home. The Faulkerson's residence Alden's favorite spot is his bedroom or "man cave" on the second floor of the house. An important feature is an altar. Next is his collection of Iron Man action figures in different sizes. About the life-size figure standing near his bedroom door, Alden quipped, “Kinakausap ko siya minsan. Joke lang." Alden shared, "Ewan ko nga, basta na-in love na ako kay Iron Man since I saw Iron Man na si Robert Downey Jr. ang gumanap.” Iron Man is a 2008 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The GMA artist admitted he has lost count of how many action figures he owns. “By visuals ko lang siya mine-memorize," he said, adding some were gifts from his closest friends and fans. Alden revealed he is keeping his collection for his future kids. Smiling, he told YES!, "Well, basically, at one point, kapag nagka-family na ako, of course, I could pass them on to the kids. "Ganoon naman talaga, e, apag may gusto ka na isang bagay, there will come a time na you have to let go." SOURCE: PEP.ph
