Alden Richards Meets Lifestyle Laguna

BTS: #LifestyleLaguna Interview and Photo Shoot with #AldenRichards, Laguna’s Heartthrob

THURSDAY, November 22, was a fun and kilig day as Alden Richards sat down with Lifestyle Laguna for an interview and photo session for the magazine’s inaugural issue.

Veteran journalist and editor Emmie G. Velarde interviewed Alden for her cover story on the “Pambansang Bae” and Santa Rosa City resident. Until recently, Emmie was the entertainment editor of the Philippine Daily Inquirer and is one of the pillars of lifestyle journalism in the Philippines.

Emmie’s interview with Alden was fascinating, revealing and – as one of Alden’s colleagues from GMA Artist Center later exclaimed – “the most sincere interview Alden has ever done.” Among others, the actor talked about his work ethic, his plans after Victor Magtanggol, the things he does that most of us don’t know about, and, of course, why he loves Laguna.

Alden was very professional during the pictorial with another veteran, photojournalist and documentary photographer (and now Los Baños resident) Sonny Yabao, who we yanked out of retirement for this gig. Lifestyle Laguna’s contributing stylist, Noah Mendoza, styled the shoot. The photo session was held at Concha’s Garden Cafe in Quezon City, a restaurant that Alden co-owns with Gemma Escueta-Sembrano.
